  • Since many of the rhythms are long patterns, the teachings are broken up into multiple slow parts at first.
  • After finishing this masterclass, you will be able to play complicated patterns which translate into amazing detailed music.

  • In this masterclass you will learn many of the basic fills.
  • The exercises are all single strokes and use the Straight Beat as the foundation.
  • All elements of the lessons are set up in a specific order:
    1. The beat part is played, followed by a pause.
    2. Only the fill is played, followed by a pause and then repeated.
    3. Both the beat and the fill are played, followed by a pause and repeated.
    4. The beat and fill are repeated without a pause. (Looping)
